PREVENTION COMMITTEE
FOURTH ANNUAL FIRE
PREVENTION DAY
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4th,

The West Chester Fire Prevention Committee is a dedicated
group of firefighters of the West Chester Fire Department
with the propose to spread the word of Fire Safety.
Volunteer Members of The First West Chester Fire Company,
Goodwill Fire Company, and Fame Fire Company protect the
West Chester Borough, East Bradford
Township, West Goshen Township, Birmingham Township,
Thornbury Township and Westtown Township and the 60,000
residents living there. In 2005 the Fire Department
organized the f Fire Prevention Committee to educate these
residents. The committee held the First Annual Fire
Prevention Day on Saturday, September 17, 2005 with
demonstrations including the West Chester Regional E.R.T.,
Chester County Haz-Mat Team, a visit from a PennSTAR
Helicopter, Smokey Bear, and West Chester Fire
Department Demonstrations.
